Idris Elba has split from his baby mama. The "Luther" star broke up with his girlfriend of two years, Naiyana Garth, who gave birth to his son Winston Elba on April 17, 2014.

There's no other details about their separation, which was first reported by Us Weekly. Elba walked alone on the red carpet of Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 27 and did not give interview. Back in January, he was accompanied to Screen Actors Guild Awards by his 15-year-old daughter Isan, whose mother is his ex-wife Hanne "Kim" Norgaard.

At the same time, The Sun revealed the identity of Elba's second wife whom he reportedly married for only a day. Sonya Hamlin is a 44-year-old U.S. lawyer who claimed she was intoxicated when she married the actor at a Las Vegas chapel.

The couple was introduced to each other in 2005 by his manager, who happened to be a college pal of Hamlin. They lived together in Maryland before they got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel on April 9, 2006 with estate agent Daniel Krastev as witness. A source at the chapel claimed the couple were "very nice, not intoxicated or nothing crazy like that."

Court papers obtained by The Sun revealed that the marriage was annulled on August 11, 2006 with rows over having children partly to blame. "It's a heartbreak story. She cared about him and when they broke up it tore her up," a source said.
