While attending the BRIT Awards 2016 at the O2 in London on Wednesday, February 24, Louis Tomlinson opened up about what being a father felt like. In a red carpet interview with Capital FM, the One Direction member also revealed what he hoped his son Freddie's first word would be.

"It's a tough question because the immaturity is just pushing through there," Louis first joked before answering, "but 'dad'!" Well, it's not surprising after all, though he probably wouldn't mind if his baby boy would say something ruder.

Louis also shared that he didn't mind changing his baby's diaper, because he already had a lot of experiences with it. "Have I changed a nappy? I'd actually probably changed about a hundred nappies before Freddie because I used to help out with my sister so I have changed his nappy, thank you!" he said.

The 24-year-old singer admitted that he missed his newborn baby so much when he's away from his son. "I'm still getting used to it. It's my first time away from him so I miss him, obviously, but it's cool. I do get Father's Day now," he shared.

After the event, Louis was spotted leaving the venue with Zayn Malik's ex-girlfriend Perrie Edwards. Louis was photographed getting into a car to join Perrie. They headed to The Box night club in the city to attend an after-party. Despite her heartbreaking split with Zayn, Perrie proved that there's no bad blood between her and the rest of the famous band's members.
