The GOP frontrunner is 'not offended' by the impersonations but he notes that some of them did a 'really awful' job.

Donald Trump broke his silence on the various parodies targeting him. There have been many spoofs from "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to "Saturday Night Live" to Funny Or Die starring Johnny Depp. "Now it's gotten out of control, right? Now it's really gotten crazy," he said.

The Republican presidential candidate called the impersonations a "great honor." "If they didn't do it - if they didn't have any interest - I guess things wouldn't be going so good," so the GOP frontrunner told New York Times. "I know the business. I know the game. And I'm not offended."

The real estate mogul-turned politician hasn't seen the fake TV movie on Funny Or Die but he called Depp a "great actor." He also praised Jimmy Fallon as a "terrific guy" who did "some great, great imitations."

Still there were some sketches he didn't like. "Some of them are good people, but they don't have it even close. They actually think they're good. They actually tell me how great they are at it, and I say, 'Give me a break.' (pause) I don't say that to them, because I never like to insult people," he said.

Trump, however, refused to give any advice to his impersonators, "They have enough guidance. They've got, certainly, plenty of material, that's for sure. Some are really good, and some are really, really awful."
