AceShowbiz - Following the success of "Spy", %cMelissa McCarthy% is hired for another R-rated comedy, "The Boss". In the new film, she plays the self-proclaimed richest woman in America named Michelle Darnell who, after being sent to prison for insider trading, tries to rebrand herself as America's latest sweetheart.
However, she will likely have difficulty establishing her new image. As seen in a new red band trailer debuted by Universal on Friday, February 12, the foul-mouthed lady swears at and in front of everyone she meets, including her assistant, her former colleagues, a group of young girls and %cPeter Dinklage%, whose role is unclear but will involve a sword.
"The Boss" reunites McCarthy with her "Tammy" director, and real-life husband, Ben Falcone. The film, set to hit U.S. theaters on April 8, also stars %cKristen Bell% as Michelle's assistant Claire, %cKathy Bates% and %cCecily Strong% among others.
McCarthy can also be seen next in Paul Feig's "Ghostbusters" reboot, in which she'll play a member of the iconic team alongside %cKristen Wiig%, %cKate McKinnon%, %cLeslie Jones% and %cChris Hemsworth%.
