AceShowbiz - The first trailer for "Term Life" has arrived. The 2-minute trailer shows Nick Barrow (Vince Vaughn), a heist man who's wanted by cops and a drug kingpin, running off with his estranged daughter Cate (Hailee Steinfeld) from their hometown.
The trailer begins with Nick's partner in crime Alejandro (William Levy) shot dead after successfully robbing a bank. Alejandro's father (Jordi Molla) who's a drug kingpin comes after Nick following his son's death.
Wanted by cops and Alejandro's father, Nick believes that he will die soon. He only has one wish, his daughter's safety and welfare. In a last effort to leave something behind for Cate, Nick takes out his $1 million life insurance policy. However, it will come into effect after 21 days.
The trailer shows Nick captured by Alejandro's father who threatens to take his daughter after Nick refused to reveal particular secret information. However, Nick successfully leaves the building and quickly heads to Cate's dorm room. Without further ado, Nick asks her to join him as some guys will come to kill her .
Though the two have left their hometown, their journey doesn't come with ease. He meets a police officer (Terrence Howard) who shows him his picture in a wanted poster. Cops from his hometown are still chasing him. Alejandro's father is also looking for him. At the end of the trailer, Nick and his daughter's car comes off the road after hit by another car. Will Nick survive for 21 days?
"Term Life" will hit U.S. theaters on March 1. Taraji P. Henson, Jon Favreau, Annabeth Gish, Carlos Aviles, Anna Colwell and Cecile De France join the cast of the action-comedy.
