Jamie-Lynn Sigler's long battle with multiple sclerosis doesn't negatively affect her marriage to Cutter Dykstra. According to E! News, their marriage remains strong despite her disease because she's not a type of person who "[wallows] in self-pitty" and her husband is very supportive of her.
"Jamie-Lynn's a very positive person, bubbly, upbeat. She's not the type to wallow in self-pity or feel sorry for herself or go into hiding," a source told the news outlet. "[The fact] that she's handled her diagnosis so gracefully isn't a surprise."
Of Jamie-Lynn's marriage with her baseball player husband, the source said, "Her relationship with Cutter is strong." The source added, "She's got a big support system in him. She's looking to work more, but I've also heard they're hoping to add to their family again soon."
Jamie-Lynn's mother Anita Shame showed her support for her daughter following the revelation of the actress' health struggle. Anita wrote on Facebook, "To all my FB friends: I want you all to know that we are so proud of our daughter! We will continue our lives in a new light! We are stronger than ever as a family! We need your support and love, not pity! Love u all!"
