Bryan Cranston Lands Role in James Franco's 'The Disaster Artist'

There's still no word on which character the Oscar-nominated actor would play in the film about Tommy Wiseau's classic 'The Room'.

AceShowbiz - Another A-lister is joining the already-stellar cast of "The Disaster Artist", a film by %cJames Franco% which tells the story of what's dubbed the best worst movie ever made, 2003's "The Room". It's been revealed that Oscar nominee %cBryan Cranston% would be among famous faces featured in the upcoming flick.

%cGreg Sestero%, who starred in "The Room" and wrote a book titled "The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside the Room" on which Franco's project is based, announced the casting himself in a Facebook post that has now been removed. However, details about Cranston's character are still unknown.

The 2003 movie was directed by Tommy Wiseau and went on to become a cult classic because of its bizarre storytelling, acting and production values. In his "Disaster Artist", Franco will play the infamous filmmaker alongside his brother %cDave Franco% as well as %cKate Upton%, %cSharon Stone%, %cAlison Brie%, %cZac Efron% and %cJosh Hutcherson%.

The movie is currently in production and still has no official release date.
