The 'Same Old Love' singer makes it clear that there's nothing romantic between her and Pitt as they were talking about his film at the Golden Globes after-party.

Selena Gomez surprised her fans when she posted on Instagram a picture of her and Brad Pitt having an intimate conversation at the Golden Globes after-party. The "Same Old Love" singer told E! News at the UNICEF Ball on Tuesday, January 12 that there's nothing romantic between them.
"It was funny because I had met him a few years ago and I was kind of telling him how I geeked out about it and then obviously we were talking about 'The Big Short' and how he thought it was really cool and his kids loved it," said Gomez.
Gomez made cameo appearance alongside economist Dr. Richard Thaler to explain Synthetic Collateralized Debt Obligations. However, she admitted to Pitt that she didn't really know what she was talking about in the movie. "It was good for me to learn what was happening with our economic system," she said. Of whether or not Pitt and Angelina Jolie's kids are Gomez's big fans, the 23-year-old songbird said, "Evidently. Hopefully."
Pitt was not the only Hollywood hottie whom the former Disney darling wanted to meet at the party. She told PEOPLE at the time, "I'm not going to lie, it's nice to, like, look at all of the hot guys that I admire. Like, I'm trying to find Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt right now." When asked if she had a crush on Gosling, she replied, "I mean, is that even a question?"
