Find out if the alternative treatment that the former 'Anger Management' star sought in Mexico works out.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen temporarily went off his HIV medications. In a recent interview on "The Dr. Oz Show", the former "Two and a Half Men" star said he had been off his meds for a week in favor of an alternative treatment in Mexico. "Am I risking my life? Sure. So what? I was born dead. That part of it doesn't faze me at all," he said.

However, the test results were not what the "Anger Management" alum expected. "I'm a little off my game because right before I walked out here, I got some results I was disappointed about," he told Oz. "I had been non-detectable, non-detectable and checking the blood every week and then found out the numbers are back up."

Following the disappointing blood results, now the 50-year-old father of five resumes taking his meds. "Charlie is back on his meds. He tried a cure from a doctor in Mexico but the minute the numbers went up, he started taking his medicine," his rep tells PEOPLE. "He said he would start on the plane on the way home and that is exactly what he did."
