AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth weren't hesitant to show their fans that they're hanging out together after the Golden Globes party on Sunday, January 10. A black-and-white video Charlie posted on his Instagram page showing the two together quickly sparked romance speculations, but are they really dating?
Instagram user @smharie07 commented on the said video, "Oh my llama...i think i'm fall in love with them, together." Another user @osnapitzcharla also wanted the pair to be in a relationship as saying, "Can they please datee omgg." User @suhburbiaabs noticed that Charlie looked beaming in the video, "You're all smiles when you're with her, I love it."
A source told HollywoodLife.com that the two weren't dating though they appeared to have a fun time together. "Charlie thinks that Selena is great, but as shocking as it might sound he doesn't want to pursue anything romantically with her," said the source. "They had a really fun time but hung out in a sea of people that it was mostly pleasantries and such and then they went on with their nights. No couple here!"
The black-and-white video in which both Selena and Charlie were mouthing a song in the background was actually a teaser of their new song "We Don't Talk Anymore". Charlie previously revealed why he wanted Selena to be on the song, "I met up with Selena, and she went through a very public relationship, on and off, and she could just relate to the song and the lyrical sentiment. I was playing the song for her, and she just started singing the second verse. I got chills. I was like, 'Oh my gosh, that sounds so real. You need to sing on it.' And she said yes."
