"Grease Live" has found its Teen Angel. The show has cast Boyz II Men in the role that was made famous by Frankie Avalon in the 1978 movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

The R&B group announced the news on Twitter. "We're so excited to announce we're joining #GreaseLive! Catch us all play Teen Angel Jan 31 on FOX. #threeangels," they wrote along with a video confirming their involvement in the project. They will sing the classic song "Beauty School Dropout".

In "Grease Live", the beginning of senior year means the end of Danny and Sandy's summer romance - until Sandy unexpectedly transfers to Danny's high school. With their friends pulling them in different directions, it's up to Danny and Sandy to stay hopelessly devoted as they make their way from Rydell High to a new frontier.

Aaron Tveit plays Danny, Julianne Hough stars as Sandy, Vanessa Hudgens portrays Rizzo, with Carly Rae Jepsen, Keke Palmer, Carlos PenaVega (a.k.a. Carlos Pena Jr.), David Del Rio and Kether Donohue rounding out the cast.

The musical production will be shot in front of a live audience and air Sunday, January 31 at 7/6c on FOX.
