AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert's new boyfriend Anderson East is revealed to have a past run-in with the law. According to Radar Online, the 27-year-old musician was arrested on March 4, 2007 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, after police saw him driving without his headlights on.
According to Sheriff's records obtained by the site, police noticed the smell of marijuana and Anderson admitted he had "smoked a bowl" in the previous night. Police also reportedly found an ounce of pot in the musician's car.
At the time, Anderson, born Michael Cameron Anderson, was charged with reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to a nearly year-long probation for the controlled substance charge and was fined $250. The charges were dismissed when his probation requirements were completed.
The news came after Miranda posted on Instagram a picture of her snuggling with Anderson. "The snuggle is real...@andersoneast," she wrote alongside the snap. The new couple were smiling while sitting on a sofa with thick blanket.
