Mariah Carey sparks engagement rumors with her boyfriend James Packer. The "Heartbreaker" singer was spotted wearing a sparkling jewelry on her left finger when walking hand-in-hand with her beau at his casino in Melbourne, Australia.
In a video obtained by Mail Online, Mariah was all smiles when entering the venue along with James. She sported a plunging black dress and brown sunglasses with her hair straightened. She paused to lock lips with her boyfriend in front of the crowd outside the casino.
Some eagle-eyed onlookers noticed a piece of silverware glittering from Mariah's left hand. But it looked far more likely to be the "We Belong Together" singer's favorite butterfly ring which she's worn for nearly a decade.
One of Mariah's fan pages claimed the suspicious ring was indeed her butterfly band. "Mariah Carey's butterfly ring is NOT an engagement ring. She has been wearing it for over a decade.... Please stop with the ill-informed speculation," the fan wrote.
On Tuesday, December 29, Mariah shared a picture of her in front of a private jet ready to fly to Australia. In the photo, she wore nothing on her left finger. "That jet-set life," she captioned it.
