Some of the new pictures from the upcoming episode titled 'Blood Bonds' see Kara's aunt Astra in captivity.

AceShowbiz - CBS has released a bunch of photos from a new episode of "Supergirl" to tide fans over the show's return. Giving a glimpse of the continuation of the showdown between Kara (Melissa Benoist) and her aunt Astra (Laura Benanti), some of the pictures have Astra in captivity at the DEO.
In the meantime, Astra's husband Non (Chris Vance) captures Hank (David Harewood). According to the synopsis of the episode titled "Blood Bonds", this leads to a tense standoff between the two sides. Also, Kara continues to refute Cat's allegations that she is Supergirl.
"Supergirl" returns Monday, January 4 at 8 P.M. on CBS. Toyman (Henry Czerny) and Bizarro are among DC Comics villains who will appear in the second half of the first season.
