Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg casually mentions Bizarro as one of the villains that will appear on the CBS series.

AceShowbiz - What to look forward to when "Supergirl" returns in early 2016? Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently revealed one of the villains that Kara (Melissa Benoist) would battle in the second half of the show's first season.

According to Heroic Hollywood, when Kreisberg appeared on Kevin Smith's "Fatman on Batman" podcast, he said that a big villain would be coming to the show. "We've got the Toyman coming up, we got Bizarro," he said.

While Henry Czerny has been cast as Winslow Schott a.k.a. Toyman, who also happens to be Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) estranged father, no actor/actress is announced yet to play Bizarro. It's also unknown which version of Bizarro, Bizarro Superman or Bizarro Girl, who will appear on the CBS show.

If the TV show sticks to the "Supergirl" comic run by Sterling Gates and Jamal Igle, fans can expect to see Kara battling her evil "twin." Bizarro Girl is a denizen of Htrae/Bizarro World who boasts many of the same powers as Supergirl, though sometimes in reverse.

"Supergirl" returns Monday, January 4 at 8 P.M. on CBS.
