The lawyer, who does not represent the seven women named in Cosby's suit, said the 'tactic' would not deter her clients.

AceShowbiz - Bill Cosby is fighting back against seven women who have accused him of sexually abusing them. On Monday, December 14, the veteran actor's lawyer Monique Pressley filed a countersuit on his behalf in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Joy Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie were named in the 89-page filing. Cosby wanted them to publicly retract their accusations and pay him compensations.

The lawsuit stated that he sued the women "for their malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations of sexual misconduct against him." Cosby is seeking "relief from the defendants' intentional campaign to assassinate his character for their own financial gain by awarding him compensatory and punitive damages to the maximum extent permitted by the law."

It went on saying, "As a result of their false, opportunistic and malicious accusations, Mr. Cosby's reputation has been irretrievably damaged, and his planned reemergence to network television destroyed as they intended." The actor encouraged the judge to prohibit the women from their "intentional, extreme, outrageous and morally repugnant conduct."

More than a dozen women have accused Cosby of either drugging or molesting them, or both. He has continuously denied the misconducts and has not been charged for a crime. Several of the women are represented by famed lawyer Gloria Allred but these seven women are not.

Commenting on Cosby's latest move, Allred told FOX411, "Bill Cosby appears to be going to war against women who have sued him in Massachusetts and who allege that he has victimized them. Although I do not represent the women in that case, I do believe that in general that such a tactic will not deter courageous women from fighting the battle against him."
