Carrie Underwood takes viewers to a forest in the music video for her new single "Heartbeat". Arriving online via Yahoo! Music on Tuesday, December 1, the clip finds the country superstar channeling her inner goddess as she strolls through the woods at night.
In the dreamy visuals, Underwood looks beautiful as usual in a flowing dress with a thigh-high slit and sparkling details. She walks alone, barefoot, in the dark and dances to her song under the light of a harvest moon while surrounded by fireflies.
"Heartbeat" was co-written by Underwood herself, apparently with her husband Mike Fisher in mind. The song actually features guest vocals from American Music Awards' reigning New Artist of the Year Sam Hunt, who unfortunately makes no appearance in the clip.
The track serves as the second single off the "American Idol" alum's latest album, "Storyteller", which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 following its release in October. The mother of one will embark on a tour to support the project starting in January 2016.
