Mary-Kate Olsen, 29, is a married woman. According to Page Six, the actress-turned-designer exchanged wedding vows with her banker fiance, Olivier Sarkozy, at an intimate Manhattan ceremony on Friday night, November 27.
The newlyweds celebrated their union at a private residence on 49th Street, between Second and Third avenues. Rumor has it, there were 50 family and friends in attendance. They enjoyed cocktails in the garden before heading indoor for dinner.
The private couple kept their wedding hush-hush by asking the guests to turn in their cellphones beforehand. The place was reportedly decorated with "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night."
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy, 46, started dating in 2012. He reportedly proposed to her with a 4-carat vintage Cartier diamond ring purchased for $81,250 at a Sotheby's auction. It's the first wedding for Mary-Kate but second for Olivier.
The French banker, who is also the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, was previously married to Charlotte Bernard and shares two children with her.
