Are they just friends? Selena Gomez was pictured having dinner with Niall Horan at Nobu in Malibu on Monday night, November 23. Perez Hilton claimed the pair were joined by Selena's parents that night.
In the picture, Selena and Niall were sitting on the same table with other friends. The "Good for You" singer wore a black dress with white collar with her hair tied up in a ponytail. The One Direction member, meanwhile, donned a black tee and glasses.
An insider told Us Weekly that Selena and Niall were strictly friends. During the dinner, they were reportedly joined by Niall's bandmate Liam Payne. A source close to Selena claims the songstress is still very much single. Another source says the two have actually been friends for ages.
The news came after Selena was serenaded by her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber with a rendition of "My Girl" at an L.A. bar on Friday, November 20. Despite reconciliation speculations, a source told PEOPLE that the former couple was not getting back together as lovers.
According to the source, the "Same Old Love" songstress and the "What Do You Mean" crooner "care about each other and miss each other, but they're not getting back together right now." They wanted to remain as friends for now.
