Turns out, Olivia Benson really likes awards just like her owner Taylor Swift. In a photo taken by the pop superstar's boyfriend Calvin Harris and shared on her Instagram on Monday, November 16, her cat is seen chewing on a trophy from the MTV Video Music Awards, and she's not happy about it.
"Olivia Benson chewing on Olivia Benson's moon man because she is disrespectful," Swift wrote, captioning the adorable snap showing Olivia almost eating the MTV flag of the silver statuette. "So glad @therealmariskahargitay took it home and away from this monster."
That Mariska Hargitay Swift mentioned is of course the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star whose character on the series inspired the name of her beloved pet. The 51-year-old actress earned the moonman for her appearance alongside a bunch of other A-listers in the much-talked-about music video for the singer's "Bad Blood" featuring Kendrick Lamar.
Along with Swift's other furry friend Meredith, Olivia Benson is no stranger to appearing in the 25-year-old entertainer's Instagram posts. Earlier this month, Swift shared a picture of Olivia as she celebrated National Cat Day.
"With every passing day, Olivia looks less like a cat and more like a melting snowman," she wrote alongside an image of the cat hanging out in her dressing room. In another photo, the feline is almost unnoticeable as she lies on a white chair. "Olivia just wants to blend in," read the caption.
