Khloe reveals that her husband has to learn to walk on his own before being allowed to leave the hospital.

AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian gives updates on Lamar Odom's condition. In an interview with Terri Seymour on "Extra" during a press tour for her new book "Strong Looks Better Naked", she says that the former Miami Heat player is no longer hooked to machines and is now on the road to recovery.

"He's definitely doing better, which is awesome. Every day is better, he's off of all machines that, he is alive on his own, and no machines are helping him, which is great, but he still has a lot of physical and cognitive therapy to go through, so it's a long road for him," she explains.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star continues, "It's gonna be a long long time. Every day is different - some days he's really strong, and some days he's weaker than the day before 'cause it's mentally draining, I'm sure, on him."

She adds, "He will try to learn how to walk... so that is first... When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own or at least with an assistance, with, like, a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening."

Amidst Lamar's health crisis, Khloe decided to put their divorce on hold but she insisted that she's not back on with her husband. Despite having "a great deal of love" for him, Khloe told Redbook that she's still dating James Harden. Of her boyfriend, she said to E! News, "He's been really supportive, really understanding."

While Khloe was away on her book promo tour, her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian checked up on Lamar. The duo was recently pictured coming to visit the basketball player on Tuesday, October 10 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.
