AceShowbiz - In anticipation of their new album "Made in the A.M.", One Direction lets fans hear two brand new songs off it. The boys shared via their YouTube channel on Wednesday, November 4 a teaser video featuring snippets of "Temporary Fix" and "Walking in the Wind" as well as commentary from Niall Horan and Harry Styles.

The former track is an upbeat rock-tinged tune Niall co-wrote with British songwriter Wayne Hector and two members of production team TMS. "It's a love song but it's got bit of dirt to it. It's got a bit of grit to it," Niall explains.

"So it's basically just about being in a bar and some guy is chewing the ear off ya, he's got a few drinks in him, and you can tell by her body language that she doesn't want to be there. So you come over and chat to her," he continues. "I think it's relatable I guess, everyone has a grungy night out now and then."

"Walking in the Wind" is much slower than "Temporary Fix". According to Harry, it's inspired by Paul Simon's 1986 album "Graceland". "I'm a big Paul Simon fan and I think the inspiration behind it was 'Graceland', in which the verse was so conversational, informal and it's like spoken word," he says.

"I love that album, and when I listen to it I love hearing the influence from that in this song. And it's cool to be able to, obviously not copy, but influences that you've loved for so long...I really like this song. I think it's a nice one," he adds.

"Made in the A.M." is scheduled for release on November 13. The group's fifth studio effort, and their first without Zayn Malik, is led by "Drag Me Down" that peaked at No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100. Its follow-up "Perfect" recently debuted on the same chart at No. 10.
