A Miami-Dade county judge ordered to confiscate the rapper's seizable assets from his mansion in Miami because he hadn't paid bills on millions for leasing a jet from Signature Group.

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne's mansion in Miami was raided by police on Tuesday afternoon, October 3. A Miami-Dade county judge ordered last Friday to confiscate the rapper's seizable assets because he hadn't paid bills on millions for leasing a jet from Signature Group.

When the cops arrived, Wayne's security team reportedly didn't allow them to get into the mansion. The cops then broke the property's locks in order to gain entry. According to Rolling Stone, helicopter footage from the scene showed the authorities moving items from the rapper's house into a truck. The items included what appeared to be a wrapped artwork.

Signature Group sued the rapper in September for failing to pay his Gulfstream jet which he leased at $55,000 per month. A judge later ruled that the 33-year-old rapper had to pay $2 million in late and legal fees. Nevertheless, Wayne was uncooperative in the matter as he didn't pay the company any sooner.

The company then asked the judge to authorize a "break order" to give them rights to confiscate Wayne's assets. The judge denied the company's initial request because they didn't have proofs that the rapper had assets inside his mansion which is currently being put on the market.

Later on, the company was able to get photos to prove that Wayne had valuable assets in his mansion. The judge then signed a new order authorizing the break-in. Regarding this issue, neither Wayne nor his rep has made comments.
