AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen was thrown out from Hennessey's Tavern in Dana Point, California over the weekend. According to Entertainment Tonight, the incident happened after the 50-year-old actor threw a phone out of a woman's hand.
While in the bar, the "Two and a Half Men" actor was pretty friendly to his fans. "There was a big crowd around Charlie all night," the manager of the bar told the website. "People were having a lot of fun with him. Alcohol most likely was a factor." He took a lot of pictures together with people at the bar.
At one point, there was a woman videotaping Charlie and she didn't stop when she was asked to, said an eyewitness. They got into an argument and Charlie slapped her phone out of her hand. "The funny thing was, he and his bodyguards were leaving to go back up to L.A. when the girl [was] trying to videotape him and that's when the altercation happened," said the manager of the incident. "It was nothing serious though."
According to a surveillance video obtained by the website, Charlie was put into a headlock by security and thrown out of the bar. Later on that night, Charlie came back to meet the guy who got him out. The actor tried to shake hands with the guy.
Regarding the incident, Paul Hennessey, the owner of the bar, told PEOPLE, "From what I gather people were taking his picture. I think he finally had enough of picture taking and knocked a camera out of someone's hands."
Of reports saying that a bouncer clamped his arm around Sheen's neck and dragged him outside the bar, Paul said they were "exaggerated." The owner claimed that Charlie was "politely asked to leave. He was a perfect gentleman about it, and he shook the doorman's hand afterwards."
