Britney Spears is back in the studio to cook up her next release. The pop icon teased her studio work with DJ Burns and songwriter Mischke Butler in several Instagram pictures on Thursday, October 8.

"Making magic in the studio with @thisisburns4real yesterday!" Spears captioned the first picture of her and the English music producer. The second photo had her posing with both Burns and Mischke.

The collaborators also shared the studio time pics on their respective accounts. "Hey @britneyspears I'm sorry I'm so tall, we made some though so it's cool," Burns captioned it. Meanwhile, Mischke wrote, "Re post! Always amazing working with @britneyspears & @thisisburns4real."

Mischke is a Grammy-nominated songwriter who has worked with Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, The Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Simpson and Trey Songz. As for Burns, he worked on Midnight Star's "Midas Touch" with Ellie Goulding and remixed such singles as Lana Del Rey's "National Anthem", Iggy Azalea's "Work" and Calvin Harris' "Blame".

The effort would be the first release since Spears' eighth studio album, "Britney Jean", which was released back in December 2013. She has also been working with producer DJ Mustard, singer Sam Bruno and songwriter Matthew Koma.
