While attending Salt Lake Comic Con in Utah over the weekend, Mackie and Stan pointed out that they didn't need someone to replace Chris Evans as the Cap.

AceShowbiz - "Captain America: Civil War" stars Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan attended Salt Lake Comic Con over the weekend. They joined a panel discussing the upcoming movie during which they also talked about potential replacement for the Cap.
At the panel, Evans gave an opinion about Captain America. "He is a good man and his moral compass is probably the cleanest. This is a tough thing. This is what made it so interesting while we were filming, and it's hopefully what will make the movie great is nobody's right, nobody's wrong," Evans said of his character. "There's no clear bad guy here. We both have a point of view, which is akin to most disagreements in life and politics."
Mackie and Stan were both asked about the possibility that either of them would take on the role of Captain America in foreseeable future. The two made a same solid answer, saying that they didn't need a new Cap.
"I don't think we need a new Cap. I don't think Cap needs to change," Mackie said. "I think (Stan) would be a great Cap, but then we're left without Bucky. I think I'd be a great Cap, but then we're left without a Falcon."
In other news, Stan Lee, former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, was asked whose side he's on for the upcoming battle. He revealed that he would be on Team Cap because of the hero's personality. "Whatever side Captain America was on [should win], because he's the best, pure-hearted person in the whole world," Lee said.
"Civil War" is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with Kevin Feige serving as producer. Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen and Martin Freeman are also in the cast. The movie will arrive in the U.S. on May 6, 2016.
