Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting decided to end their marriage because of "irreconcible differences," according to divorce petition obtained by E! News on Monday, September 28. The court documents also revealed that the two had a prenuptial agreement.
The prenuptial agreement was signed on November 20, 2013. However, details regarding what the agreement entailed haven't been released yet. According to the website, it would dictate Cuoco's spousal support payments to Sweeting and how they would divide their assets.
The court documents also revealed that the actress of "The Big Bang Theory" and the tennis athlete had separated since September 3. The divorce petition was filed in L.A. Superior Court on September 25, the same day as their divorce announcement. At that time, a rep for Cuoco said, "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."
Following the divorce announcement, the 29-year-old actress removed her wedding ring and opted to spend time with her family and friends. Cuoco enjoyed horse riding with her companions over the weekend. The blonde beauty took to Instagram to thank them for their support during the tough time. "After!!!! never felt so happy !!! I've never felt more surrounded by love," she wrote alongside a picture of her riding a horse.
