Pentatonix continues to build the anticipation of their debut self-titled album, most recently with an impressive cover of "Where Are U Now". The a capella group shared on Friday, September 25 their version of Jack U a.k.a Diplo and Skrillex's collaboration with Justin Bieber along with an accompanying video.
In the three-and-a-half-minute clip, the five-piece's Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola are featured performing the song, beautifully turning the EDM/pop tune into a slow-tempo ballad, while wandering around an abandoned building.
The original "Where Are U Now" appears on Jack U's "Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U" album that came out earlier this year. The song peaked at No. 8 on Billboard Hot 100.
The "Pentatonix" album, meanwhile, is set to come out on October 16. The album will mark the group's first project to include entirely original material.
