The first official look at "Supergirl" villain, Red Tornado, is unleashed online roughly a month before the DC superhero series makes its debut on CBS. The picture shows Iddo Goldberg in full makeup and costume as the menacing baddie.

The character is described as "the most advanced android the world has ever seen. Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow (also played by Goldberg) for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City -- including the people Supergirl cares about most."

Melissa Benoist is set to lead the show as the titular heroine. Other cast members include the likes of Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, and Jenna Dewan-Tatum. The series is scheduled to kick off on October 26.
