Justin Theroux talked about his hush-hush nuptials with Jennifer Aniston. "The Leftovers" actor admitted that planning the wedding was very stressful. He explained that keeping it under tight wraps took the fun out of prepping for the big day.
"I wouldn't say it was fun to plan. Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people and we had to keep it under wraps," he told New York Daily News. So he felt so relieved when the deed was done. "I noticed it almost immediately," he said. "It was like your blood pressure goes down two PSI. It's not like life is completely different. It's a beautiful thing."
Jennifer Aniston, 46, and Justin Theroux, 44, married at their Bel Air estate on August 5, five days before his birthday. Courteney Cox served as the maid of honor, Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony, Howard Stern made a toast and gave a speech, while Sia Furler serenaded the newlyweds. The guests included Chelsea Handler, Ellen DeGeneres, and Emily Blunt. After their wedding, the couple headed to Bora Bora for honeymoon.
