"Law & Order" is getting a reality spin-off. NBC has given the green light to one-hour courtroom docu-drama series "Law & Order: You the Jury" from "Law & Order" boss Dick Wolf and reality producer Magical Elves.

The interactive program will let audience take part in determining the verdict of real-life legal cases which are played out on a live TV courtroom. The show will also allow viewers to vote throughout the trial on the veracity of witnesses and persuasiveness of evidence.

NBC's previous attempt in interactive program, "The Million Second Quiz" hosted by Ryan Seacrest, failed to attract viewers and was canceled after only one season. Its latest live effort "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris", however, debuted to solid results on Tuesday, September 15.
