Kayla Ewell is a married woman. "The Vampire Diaries" actress wed her longtime boyfriend Tanner Novlan in a ceremony held at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday evening, September 12. The couple exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 of their closest family and friends.

The bride donned a Monique Lhuillhier gown for the special occasion, while the groom wore a Theory tux. The ceremony was officiated by the bride's uncle.

Among the guests attending the nuptials were Ewell's "Vampire Diaries" co-stars. Fellow actress Candice Accola, who's expecting her first baby with husband Joe King, was also in attendance. "They're really special," Ewell said of the guests coming to her big day. "It's been really fun, and it means a lot that they're all coming."

Confirming the wedding to PEOPLE, Ewell said choosing the Jonathan Club as the venue for their big day was a "no brainer" for her and Novlan. "It has a lot of meaning to me because we spend a lot of family time there," said Ewell. "It's just so beautiful and there's so much history there."

Ewell and Tanner first met five years ago on set of Australian band Sick Puppies' music video for their single "Maybe." They got engaged nine months ago. Following their weekend wedding, they would be jetting off to Belize for their honeymoon.
