Demi Lovato and her longtime BFF Selena Gomez have reunited for a hilarious selfie. Demi took to Instagram on Thursday, September 10 to share a photo of her and Selena making silly face together to the camera.
Wearing a flower-print top, Demi made a silly eye-roll to the camera. Selena, meanwhile, stuck her tongue out. The "Cool for the Summer" hitmaker captioned it, "Look at how #coolforthesummer we are.. Friends for years, #sameoldlove."
It was Demi and Selena's first picture together since 2014. The two BFFs, who grew up together as Disney stars, went through a falling out in 2010 before reuniting in January 2014. At that time, Selena said of her friendship with Demi, "I've known her since we were 7, and we did fall apart for a while. She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, 'OK, I don't understand what she's going through so I'm just going to do this.' I don't think it was fair, and I'm so happy that I have her back in my life now."
The two friends were later photographed together at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood. They also attended the unite4:good gala and Variety's unite4:humanity event in February 2014, where Selena got choked up while talking about Demi in her acceptance speech. "I'm thankful for you. You inspire me everyday," Justin Bieber's ex said of her bestfriend. "I hope together we can inspire people to focus on what's really important."
