MTV took a risk by picking Miley Cyrus as the host of its 2015 Video Music Awards. Despite a preventive measure the network took to avoid R-rated antics by the singer, she still managed to flash her nipple on live TV.
Toward the end of the show, the former Disney darling was seen chancing backstage to prepare for the final performance of the night. She peeped out from a black curtain and accidentally exposed her entire left breast.
Realizing that she flashed the camera, she asked, "Oh, sorry... my tit's out?" The live broadcast of the VMAs was actually being on a delay, but her nipple somehow passed censorship.
Earlier that night, Miley stunned everyone as she hit the red carpet of the show in barely-there outfit. She changed her costume several times while hosting the ceremony, showing a lot of skin a plastic balloon outfit which barely covered her modesty.
She made many drug references during the show. In one skit, she and Tyga ate marijuana cookies. She also took a selfie with Rita Ora, Kim Kardashian and a group of costumed performers, and asked them to say "marijuana!" instead of "cheese!" Later during her performance with The Flaming Lips, the band's frontman Wayne Coyne fired a bong confetti cannon out of Miley's crotch.
