Macklemore & Ryan Lewis returned on Thursday, August 27 with their new single "Downtown". The track, featuring contributions from rap pioneers such as Grandmaster Caz, Kool Moe Dee and Melle Mel, comes as another preview of the rap duo's new album.

It didn't take Macklemore and his producer pal Lewis too long to premiere the funky song's accompanying music video. A motorcycle-themed clip they directed with Jason Koenig was released online through their YouTube channel later in the day.

Shot in his and Lewis' hometown, the video finds Macklemore buying a moped and taking it to the streets with a gang of fellow motorcyclists. In between riding his motorcycle around the neighborhood and even engaging in some sort of street gang fighting, he busts out some "Uptown Funk"-esque choreographed dance moves alongside his crew.

"Downtown" is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' second song in 2015. Earlier this year, the Grammy-winning duo released "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)" to celebrate the birth of Macklemore's daughter.

The duo is scheduled to take the stage at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, presumably to perform their newest track live for the first time. The event, slated to air live on Sunday, August 30, will also include performances from Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber and more.
