Justin Bieber is the latest name enlisted to perform at the upcoming 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. The Canadian singer announced the news himself via a Twitter post he shared on Wednesday, August 26.

Bieber tweeted out a picture of the event's host Miley Cyrus sticking out her tongue while baring her chest with his face covering her boobs. "Only @mileycyrus. Lol. It's true. I'm performing on the #vmas!! #bieberisback," he said in the caption.

Joining previously-announced VMA performers like The Weeknd, Demi Lovato, Pharrell Williams and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis among others, the 21-year-old heartthrob is performing live his new single "What Do You Mean" for the first time.

The track is set to lead his next album that's due out on November 13. Before the song's officially released on August 28, a 30-second snippet of it recently leaked online. A bouncy dance bop, the song has the same vibe as his and Jack U's collaboration "Where Are U Now".
