The first teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino's much-anticipated movie "The Hateful Eight" has landed online for viewing pleasure, introducing each of the key characters. It opens with Kurt Russell's hangman and his hostage (Jennifer Jason Leigh) running into a hitchhiker (Samuel L. Jackson).
They meet several other people as they seek refuge from a snowstorm in a way station. "This here is Daisy Domergue. She's wanted dead or alive for murder. That sun comes out, I'm taking this woman to hang. Is there anybody here committed to stopping me from doing that?" Russell's character tells the other travelers.
As tension runs high, Jackson's pulls out his two guns and says, "Move a little strange, you're gonna get a bullet. Not a warning, not a question. A bullet."
The movie is due December 25. It's also supported by Walton Goggins, Channing Tatum, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, and Zoe Bell.
