Amid rumors that Ben Affleck cheated on Jennifer Garner with their ex-nanny Christine Ouzounian, a photo emerged earlier this week showing the blonde girl on a private jet heading to Las Vegas with him and his pal Tom Brady. Another friend of the actor has now explained why Ouzonian was brought on the trip, saying she was there for business reasons.

"Christine flew with Ben from the Bahamas to Vegas because she was helping him with his poker tournament for his charity," the friend told Page Six shortly after the site published the photo of Ouzounian flashing a big smile while posing on her seat with Brady's four Super Bowl rings on her fingers.

"There were many other people on the plane, including other assistants and staff working for Ben who were helping with the event, and many of these also tried on Tom's Super Bowl rings and took photos," the source continued. "Ben and Tom Brady are good friends, and he is grateful that Tom agreed to attend his charity event."

The friend went on denying earlier claim saying Affleck hid Ouzounian the entire time once they landed in Sin City, adding, "When they landed in Vegas, Christine helped out with the organization of the tournament, assisting clients and guests who attended. She was not hiding, she was there to help out... After the tournament ended Ben returned to the Bahamas to the family. Christine went home to L.A."

As previously reported, Affleck and his family were in the Bahamas when he took Ouzounian to Las Vegas for the poker tournament. After learning of her husband and the nanny's trip without the kids, Garner reportedly flipped out and fired Ouzounian right away. Days after that, the actress and the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor announced their divorce.
