Austin Mahone and Becky G have ended their romance after five months of dating. In an interview with ET, the "Dirty Work" singer says he and the "Play It Again" songstress remains friends and there is no bad blood following the split.

"We actually kinda broke up a few days ago, just 'cause we're so busy traveling and all that," the 19-year-old singer shares. "We thought it was just kinda best if we just chill for a second, but we're still super close. We're close friends."

Austin says they can even reunite on his upcoming album. "I think [Becky]'ll definitely be featured on the album," the "Mmm Yeah" hitmaker reveals. "Like I said, we're still close and I've produced and written some songs that we've done."

Austin also hopes for a collaboration with Pia Mia and Chris Brown. "I'm trying to get one with Chris Brown right now," he shares. "He's one of my favorite artists so if I could get that, that'd be amazing."

On Monday, August 11, Becky posted on Twitter that she's doing OK despite "stressful" things that happened. "Guys I'm fine! I'm happy! I'm going on TOUR!! It's just stressful. But I promise I'm good :) love you guys," she wrote.

Austin and Becky confirmed their relationship back in April when they were spotted kissing at Miami International Airport. After the smooch, the pair said goodbye and Becky then caught her flight. While making his way out of the airport, Austin stopped to take a selfie with awaiting fan.
