Tony Bennett will be turning 89 years old on Monday, August 3, but he got an early birthday cake from fellow singer Lady GaGa during their concert tour. The duo were performing their last show for their Grammy-winning album "Cheek to Cheek" on Saturday, August 1 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. when she surprised the jazz crooner with a special serenade and cake to honor his upcoming birthday.

The cake was a multi-tiered one which was a recreation of the cake originally created for President John F. Kennedy's birthday at which Marilyn Monroe famously sang "Happy Birthday Mr. President". The cake was created by Duff Goldman's Charm City Cakes of Food Network fame and bore two figurines that were modeled after GaGa and Bennett. After presenting the cake to a beaming Bennet, 29-year-old GaGa sang Duke Ellington's "I'm Beginning To See The Light" as the concertgoers cheered. She after that led the crowd singing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday man.

GaGa shared a photo of the birthday cake on her Instagram and captioned it with "When the Birthday cake you got Tony is too big for Instagram!" She also shared a shot of the two figurines and wrote "Look at the details on this cake!! @missasiakinney and Happy made it too !"
