The former 'American Idol' winner calls 'Habits (Stay High)' 'the most family' song among the Swedish singer's records.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson covered Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)" when she recently brought her "Piece by Piece" tour to Detroit. She performed the Swedish singer/songwriter's hit single for the crowd as requested by a fan named Josh.

"Tonight this song is for Josh. He didn't put his last name," Clarkson said when introducing the song. "Josh wanted me to sing, like, three Tove Lo songs, but here's the thing about Tove Lo: It's not really family, so I have to pick the most family one out of them, so here you go."

Clarkson has been covering songs by other artists during her "Piece by Piece" tour, which was launched in support of her latest album of the same title. When making a stop in Toronto last weekend, the former "American Idol" winner played a slowed-down soulful rendition of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space".

Those in attendance weren't the only ones who loved the cover. Swift gave her stamp of approval, sharing a video of Clarkson's performance with her Twitter followers and writing in the caption, "Kelly Clarkson covered Blank Space and YES."
