The 'Who I Am With You' singer addresses the rumors saying that he was 'a contributing factor' in the country singer couple's divorce on Twitter as saying, 'That is totally FALSE.'

AceShowbiz - Chris Young broke his silence after his name was mentioned as "a contributing factor" in Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's divorce. The "Who I Am With You" singer set the record straight on Twitter about rumors claiming that he hooked up with Miranda.

"I don't normally address gossip but in this case I will," so Chris wrote. "My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda's divorce. That is totally FALSE." He argued that the affair wasn't true given that he respected the good relationship with the two. "They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship," he added. "Just wanted to clear that up. Love you guys - CY."

A number of sources told Us Weekly that the "Who's Gonna Take Me Home" singer was never romantically involved with Miranda. "Chris is promoting new music now so his name is out there," a source said. "But he's not that dumb to go messing with Blake's woman. [Blake] truly adored Miranda and was the last one to always defend her."

Though Blake reportedly heard rumors that Miranda had hooked up with Chris, it wasn't the catalyst for the divorce. It was Miranda's alleged affair with another guy, who is not a country singer, which made Blake finally convinced that she had been unfaithful to him.

While Chris took to Twitter to deny his involvement in his friends' split, Blake used Twitter to joke with fans. The coach of "The Voice" took to Twitter to document his workout session, tweeting, "Just got off the treadmill. This calls for a drink. B***h..." A fan quickly reacted to the post, saying, "@blakeshelton I cannot imagine you on a treadmill haha."

The "Sangria" singer soon replied to his fan's tweet by cracking a joke with reference to Jack Link's beef jerky commercials wherein Sasquatch always got pranked before it fought back. He wrote, "It looked like one of those messin' with Sasquatch commercials..."

Following the divorce, Blake changed his Twitter cover photo, which had been a picture of Miranda's Marie Claire cover, to a picture of himself performing on the stage. Similarly, Miranda also replaced an adorable picture of herself and Blake with a promo picture for her upcoming concert in Nashville.
