TV

Alexander Calver and Echo Kellum join 'Arrow' to play the villainous Alexander Calver and superhero Mr. Terrific respectively, while Natalie Alyn Lind will play Bruce's love interest on 'Gotham'.

AceShowbiz - "Arrow" has added two more actors to play comic books characters in its upcoming season 4. The show has tapped Alexander Calvert ("Bates Motel") to portray Lonnie Machin/Anarky, and Echo Kellum ("Ben and Kate") to portray Mister Terrific.

In the comics, Anarky is known as a Batman villain who creates gadgets to best the government. On the TV show, the character is described as a deranged criminal for hire who does whatever it takes to impress potential employers. He will work with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the big baddie in season 4.

As for Mister Terrific a.k.a. Michael Holt, he is described as a technological savant and inventor who works at Palmer Technologies under the supervision of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). It was previously revealed at Comic-Con that he would be the first openly gay character on the show.

Another DC Comics-adapted series, "Gotham", has also billed an actor to join the cast for its new season. The Batman prequel series has picked "The Goldbergs" star Natalie Alyn Lind to star as Silver St. Cloud, Bruce Wayne's friend and love interest, in season 2.

Described as an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante, she bonds with Bruce over the fact that they both lost their parents at a young age. The problem is that Silver has a heart beating with dark intent. Silver introduces Bruce to her uncle Theo Galavan, a billionaire philanthropist who's running for Mayor, and Bruce finds a father figure in him.

"Arrow" returns for its fourth season October 7 at 8 P.M. on The CW, while "Gotham" kicks off its sophomore run on September 21 at 8 P.M. ET on FOX.
