'Camille still doesn't believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent,' a source close to the family says of Bill's wife reaction.

AceShowbiz - Though Bill Cosby confessed that he gave women drugs for the purpose of sex, his wife Camille Cosby was reportedly skeptical about some parts of the accusation directed to Bill. Confidants of the couple told New York Post that Camille believed the accusers consented to drugs and sex.

"Camille still doesn't believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent," said a source close to the Cosby family. "She's well aware of his cheating, but she doesn't believe that her husband is a rapist."

Serving as her husband's business manager, Camille is "a proud, dignified but stubborn woman. You can say that she's standing by her husband, but really, the more people stand against him, the more she perceives it as an affront to her and all that she's done to make him a star," another source who has done business with Cosby explained.

At a crisis meeting with advisers at the couple's Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, home last week, Camille claimed the accusers had made her husband look bad. "They are making him out to be such a bad guy, a monster," Camille said, according to the business source. "People are jumping ship."

Regarding Camille who strongly defended her husband, the family source said the 71-year-old wife had "stopped being embarrassed long ago" by her husband's affairs. "She even once talked to Oprah Winfrey about cleansing herself of baggage every now and again and how it always seems to lead her back to staying with Bill. She made so many sacrifices for him to have a career," the source continued.
