Beverly 'wasn't surprised' with the recent revelation that Bill admitted to giving women drugs for the purpose of sex, while Whoopi says, 'You're still innocent until proven guilty.'

AceShowbiz - Beverly Johnson responds to Bill Cosby's newly released revelation that he gave women drugs for the purpose of sex. The supermodel, who previously accused Bill of drugging her in the 1980s, tells Inside Edition, "I wasn't surprised. It is sad. I don't revel in someone's downfall. Sexual assault is devastating. There is no way to walk it back. It came out of the horse's mouth."

In a statement to PEOPLE, Beverly says, "It is unfortunate the amount of proof required to make a woman's voice valid. I don't know if every woman who has been sexually attacked and comes forward will be one of the many - or one who stands on her own. But as this conversation on Cosby's actions continues, I hope that anyone with kids is thinking of teaching them that no one has the right to another's body or sexuality."

"Not every attacker is going to be someone who is lurking in the alley or an unattractive character. It is as likely that someone who is charismatic and successful will decide to do something heinous," she added. "I hope, as we live in a time in our nation where conversations on race, sexuality and gender are at hand, that we have the difficult conversations with our friends and family so that it is commonplace to defend everyone's right to be protected from all predators, no matter their status or accomplishments."

Following the revelation of Bill's old court records, Jill Scott, who previously supported Bill following sexual assault allegations against him, now admitted that she was wrong. "About Bill Cosby. Sadly his own testimony offers PROOF of terrible deeds, which is ALL I have ever required to believe the accusations," she wrote on Twitter, "I stood by a man I respected and loved. I was wrong. It HURTS!!! When you get it ALL right, holla."

Other celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Symone, meanwhile, stand by Bill. During the Tuesday, July 7 episode of "The View", Whoopi said, "You are still innocent until proven guilty. As more information comes out, people can make judgments. I don't like snap judgments. He has not been proven a rapist. Save your texts; save your nasty comments. I don't care. I say this because this is my opinion."

Raven, who played Bill's daughter on "The Cosby Show", shared, "You need proof and then I will be able to give my judgment here or there", before adding that she didn't like to discuss the allegations against him "because he is the reason I am on this panel in the first place. He gave me my first job."
