Amy Schumer will join Madonna on her upcoming "Rebel Heart" tour. The comedienne announced on Thursday, June 18 that she'd open the "Material Girl" hitmaker's New York shows at Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center on September 16, 17 and 19.
"Guess who auditioned for @Madonna and got the part? See you in NYC on Sept 16, 17 and 19," Schumer shared her excitement on Twitter. She also attached a short home video of her adorably singing Madonna's "Like a Prayer" as a child.

Madonna took to her own Twitter page a few hours later to confirm Schumer's upcoming appearance. "I'm shaking w excitement that @AmySchumer is opening up for me in New York! I hope people will stay after & watch my show!! #RebelHeartTour," she wrote.
Madge's "Rebel Heart" tour will support her latest album of the same title, which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 200 following its release last March. The tour will launch with a two-night show at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC on September 9 and 10.
