Selena Gomez may appear to be all smiles and carefree in her social media photos, but in fact she is tired of erroneous news about her. The 22-year-old songstress recently posted a candid wordy reflective message via Instagram.
"Sometimes I get frustrated when I hear lies about who I am. The Internet is meant to keep you 'updated' but it just takes old news and freezes it like it's now," the star wrote on the social media. "You have watched me in pain and I've owned up to it through my music and actions. I grew up with you."
"I am beyond excited to show you the next chapter. the TRUTH. I've been keeping secret," Selena thoughtfully added. "I'm reborn in every moment so who knows what I'll become.. As long as I'm happy with me. #strongisbeautiful #healthyperspectiveonthemfools."
The caption was accompanied by a photo of her hand touching a cut-out phrase that reads, "I want to CLAIM my own NAME."
In other news, Selena was said to be forced into rehab after her recent heartbreak over Justin Bieber. "She is a ticking time bomb. Selena doesn't seem to be able to recover from all this on her own - and she's being forced into rehab for her issues," an anonymous source said at that time.
The source also claimed that Selena lately spent most of the night partying and consumed more alcohol to cope with her pain. However, a rep for the singer denied the rumors, saying that her team never forced her to check into rehab.
