The British beauty says that she's 'great friends' with both Perry and Swift, and her decision to remove the photo is simply because she doesn't look good in it.

Ellie Goulding created quite a buzz earlier this week when she deleted a photo of her partying with Katy Perry shortly after posting it on Instagram. Numerous fans wondered if the British singer's BFF Taylor Swift, whom everyone knows is not on good terms with Perry, was the reason why she did it.
However, it turns out that Swift has nothing to do with Goulding's decision to remove the picture. In a chat with reporters when she was on the red carpet of the Glamour Awards on Tuesday night, June 2, the "Love Me Like You Do" hitmaker explained that she didn't want the photo, which also featured Swift's other BFF Lorde, simply because she didn't look good in it.
"No, I deleted that because I looked bad in it," she said. "And I think I was a bit drunk. And I thought it wasn't a very good example of myself. That's so funny that, um, that's even a thing. No, I delete things all the time! ... I'm very used to things being made up. That's ridiculous."
Of the reports claiming that friendship with Swift prompted her to delete the snap, Goulding added, "I'm great friends with Katy, I'm great friends with Taylor. That's very silly. I just looked terrible in it. I zoomed in on my actual photo, and I was like, 'No.' "
