Following a surgery on his hand, the 'Turn the Night Up' singer's team writes an update about his condition on his official blog and says that 'he will be recovering during the next few weeks.'

AceShowbiz - Just one day after Enrique Iglesias had a surgery on his injured hand on Monday, June 1, his team wrote an update about his condition on his official blog. The Spanish-born singer will be recovering during the next few weeks.
"We wanted to give you a personal update about his condition," the statement began. "His recent surgery lasted longer than expected since the damage ended up being a bit worse than initially assessed." The singer did not only need to undergo the hand reconstructive surgery, but he also needed to correct a fracture. The post continued, "He suffered a fracture that needed to be corrected in addition to the reconstructive surgery. He will be recovering during the next few weeks, but a full recovery is anticipated. - Team Enrique"
Enrique was badly injured during a concert on Saturday, May 30. When he attempted to grab a drone which he usually brings to his concert, the flying machine accidentally cut and fractured his fingers. Although the handlers' advised the Spanish singer to stop the concert, he continued to perform with a bandaged hand.
Following the incident, fans took to Instagram to show their support and love to Enrique. They took pictures of message "We love you Enrique" on their hands and compiled it into a mosaic.
