Michael Bay returns as a producer while Dave Green ("Earth to Echo") is attached to direct the second chapter. Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec from the first film also return to write the script. The upcoming sequel is set fot a U.S. release on June 3, 2016.

Ishibashi's recent credits include "Grace and Frankie", "Bones" and "Emily Owens, M.D.", along with feature films "Everything Before Us" and "The Harvesting".
